Aluminium outside, toughened glass on top, a dial that clicks into place and a lock you can feel. Everything you need sits right where your hand goes.

Turn. Press. Hold. Turn to move, press to choose, hold to go back. Haptic Field shapes every click with magnets, so the dial always has exactly as many stops as the menu on the display: five options, five clicks. Let go, and it settles on a choice.
Approvals.
A physical yes. When Krne wants to send, buy or delete something, it asks on the display and on your phone. Press the dial to approve, or hold to approve in the app.
The display.
Crisp, colourful, at a glance. A 1.47-inch OLED with 282 pixels per inch, under tough cover glass, shows what Krne is up to: pairing, agents at work, approvals and quick access to your essentials. Deep blacks, bright colour and text that stays sharp from across the desk. A glance tells you, and a turn of the dial does the rest.
Voice.
Talk the way you talk. Call Krne by the name you choose and speak naturally. Pause, change your mind, cut in mid-answer: it keeps up, remembers the thread and answers out loud through high-quality microphones and crisp stereo speakers. It knows your calendar, notes and files, and it can get things done, not just reply. Your voice never leaves Krne.13
Mic cut.
Off means off. Touch the mic icon on top and the microphones are disconnected in hardware. Not muted by software. Cut. The icon lights up to tell you at a glance: red while Krne is listening, green when the mics are cut. The display shows it too.
The lock.
One slide, and nothing leaves. Slide to the lock and Krne goes offline. Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth switch off in hardware, remote access and connectors pause, and nothing goes out.18 Krne keeps working with everything it already has, so you can ask, talk and write as usual. Your agents keep reading and drafting too, and anything they’d send, buy or delete waits for you. Slide back and press the dial to see what’s waiting. To turn Krne on, slide past the lock and hold for 2 seconds. Hold for 6 to turn it off.
On its own.
No computer? No problem. Connect a display, pair a keyboard and mouse over Bluetooth, and set up Wi‑Fi right from the dial. Krne runs Krne OS, a lean, private system built on Linux.14

Turn it on and Krne greets you on its display. Answer a few questions and it sets itself up around you.

Scan the code on Krne’s display with your phone, or plug it into your computer. Choose your Wi‑Fi in the app, so there’s nothing to type on Krne.
Create your profile and, if you like, give Krne a name to answer to.

FAQ
Does Krne need the internet?
No. Krne’s own models work offline. It goes online only when you ask it to look something up, or to reach you away from home.
Is there a subscription?
The core of Krne never needs one. Optional extras, such as remote access away from home, are available separately.
Which phones and computers work with it?
Krne apps arrive first on Mac and iPhone, with Windows and Android to follow. You can also connect Krne to a computer with a single USB‑C cable, or use it on its own with a display.

Can I use my ChatGPT or Claude account?
Yes. Connect your own account on Krne. You decide when it’s used, and Krne asks before any of your information is shared.
Where does my data go?
It stays with you. Krne processes your personal data on the device, and when it looks something up online, only the search goes out.
Is Krne always listening?
Only for its name, and only if you’ve turned voice on. The display shows whenever the microphones are on, and the mic cut disconnects them in hardware.
What does the lock on the side do?
Slide to it and Krne goes offline. Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth switch off in hardware, and remote access and connectors pause. Krne still answers you, and your agents can read and draft, but nothing is sent, bought or deleted until you unlock it on the device and press the dial. It can’t be unlocked from an app.18
Can my agents still work while Krne is locked?
Yes, with what’s already on Krne. They can sort, summarise and draft. Anything that would reach the outside world waits in one list, ready for your OK when you unlock.

- Audio figures: transcription of recorded audio with a large multilingual speech model; meeting notes produced by a 30B-class model from a live transcript; dictation formatted by a 7–9B-class model. Speed depends on the language, the audio and the model.
- Document figures: digital PDFs of about 600 words a page, a 30B-class model for review and a 7–9B-class model for sorting and summaries. Scanned documents take longer. Results depend on the documents and the task.
- Time to first token with the model loaded, a 200-token prompt and cached conversation history, 30B-class model. Switching between models already loaded in AI memory needs no reload. Longer prompts take longer.
